Τhe Programme of Turkish Studies of the Institute for Mediterranean Studies - Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas announces its 8th International Symposium. The topic of the symposium is "Ottoman Rural Societies and Economies". The symposium will take place at the Institute for Mediterranean Studies (Melissinou & Nikiforou Foka 130, Rethymno) on 13-15 January 2012.
