Antonis Masonidis was born in Athens in 1975. He holds a PhD in Economic History from Ionian University with specialization in financial history. He holds a master degree (M.Sc) from the National and Kapodistrian University and Athens University of Economics and Business in Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Methods and a bachelor degree (B.Sc) in Economics Science from the University of Piraeus. He lectures on the topics of Economic and Financial History, Political Economy and quantitative methods for social sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has been a scientific collaborator at the Ionian University, and also employed in a multinational company, in the field of financial management. Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher in the Institution of Mediterranean Studies.
