Daphne Papadaki was born in Athens. She has concluded her primary and secondary education in the 2nd Arsakeio School of Psychiko. She is a graduate of the Department of Economics of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens [UoA]. She has completed a Master of Philosophy in Economics at the Department of Economics of UoA and a Master of Science in Economic and Social History at Georg-Augusta Universität of Göttingen in Germany. Since November 2019 she has been enrolled as a PhD candidate at the Department of Economics of UoA. The title of her dissertation is “Moral economies of foreign economic supervision and financial control in Greece: The German mission, 1897-1916”. It applies the concept of “moral economies” on the archival records held at the Political Archive of the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin of Germany. Her research interests are related to Economic, social and cultural history of 19th and 20th century, History of economic supervision, History of Greek-German relations, Political and Moral Economy. She is married and mother of one child.
