Maria Papadopoulou
Maria Papadopoulou received her PhD in classical philology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is associate researcher at the Laboratoire d'Informatique, Systèmes, Traitement de l'Information et de la Connaissance - LISTIC of the Université Savoie- Mont Blanc. She has published extensively on Classics, Digital Humanities and Semantic Web applications for Cultural Heritage, and has done research and teaching in academic institutions in China, Denmark, France, Greece and USA. Since 2022 she is postdoctoral researcher in the project Leaders and Crisis Management in Ancient Greek Literature, directed at IMS/FORTH by Dr Melina Tamiolaki. She is responsible for the creation of an ontology on the concept of crisis in antiquity.
