Anna Mária - Izabella Pázsint
Annamária – Izabella Pázsint has a PhD in ancient history (2019, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania) and is a specialist in the history of the Greek cities of the Black Sea. Her research focuses mostly on Greek epigraphy, Greek social history, and prosopography (both traditional and digital). More recently, she has also developed her skills in the field of digital humanities.
Since 2015 she has been part of various research teams at her home institution (Babeș-Bolyai University) and at other national institutions (Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iași; the Institute of Archaeology, Romanian Academy, Iași). Over the years, she has been granted several national and international grants and fellowships.
The results of her research have been published in peer-reviewed journals, collective volumes, as well as conference-proceedings at national (Mega) and international publishing houses (Archaeopress, Peeters, Harassowitz, Verlag Marie Leidorf GmbH).
In terms of editorial activity, she has co-edited two conference proceedings and she is one of the editors of the Journal of Ancient History and Archaeology (WoS/ISI, Scopus, ERIH+).
She is a member of the European Association for Digital Humanities (EADH) and the Association Internationale d’Épigraphie Grecque et Latine (AIEGL).
