Lecture by Christos Loukos, emeritus professor at the University of Crete, about “Two different views on the Greek Revolution: Ioannis Kapodistrias and Alexandros Mavrokordatos”.
Professor Loukos will examine the views of the two leaders of the 1821 revolution on the timing of the revolution, the political organization of it, the state to be created by the revolutionaries, the quest for support from abroad, and their attitudes towards the Great Powers.
