Τhe Programme of Ottoman Studies of the Institute for Mediterranean Studies - Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas announces its 9th International Symposium. The topic of the symposium is "Political Thought and Practice in the Ottoman Empire". The symposium will take place at the Institute for Mediterranean Studies (Melissinou & Nikiforou Foka 130, Rethymno) on 9-11 January 2015.
