The Archive of Art History of the Institute for  Mediterranean Studies includes collections of photographs of works of art, slides, clippings, photocopied articles, posters and exhibition invitations about Domenikos Theotokopoulos. In addition, microfilms of illustrated manuscripts created in Crete during the Venetian rule have been collected as part of a research project on Western art in Crete.

The collection includes excerpts and photocopied articles from the daily and periodical press, as well as excerpts from books, mainly of the twentieth century, which are related to Domenikos Theotokopoulos.

Posters & invitations
The collection includes posters and invitations from exhibitions about Domenikos Theotokopoulos, which have been organized by IMS.
