Giorgos Tzavaras
Graduate Architect
Giorgos Tzavaras is an architect, a graduate of the School of Architecture of NTUA. He has collaborated, in the framework of the creation of the Museum of Aegean Boatbuilding and Maritime Crafts, in the design and restoration of wooden historic and preserved vessels and ship models. In addition, he has participated in research projects on shipbuilding tradition, in collaboration with the Institute of Mediterranean Studies and the University of the Aegean, as well as in the creation of a curriculum and educational handbook on the art of wooden boatbuilding. At the same time, he has been involved in architectural studies and supervision of new building constructions and restorations.
