METOPO

From the landscape of the romantics to the land art. Representations of the Greek landscape in the arts from the 18th until the late 20th century (painting, engraving, photography)

The project aims at the systematic recording and study of the pictorial production (paintings, prints and photographs) which is related to the Greek natural landscape from the 18th to the 20th century.

METOPO

Transforming the rural and political landscape: The implementation of the Land Reform in Thessaly and Macedonia (part of the larger Action KRIPIS-II: Mediterranean Landscapes of Culture: Cultural (Land)scapes of the Past in the Mediterranean (METOPO)

This Research Project is part of the larger Action KRIPIS-II, and it is based on the use of the recently available Archives of the Ministry of Agriculture (founded 1917). The archives will finally permit a detailed research on the actual implementation of the land reform and its economic, social and political impact both on a national and a local level.
